In the upcoming November election, Bloomington residents will have the opportunity to voice their opinions on several significant community issues. Three advisory measures will appear on the ballot, reflecting the community’s engagement in local governance.
Data Centers Moratorium
One measure seeks to establish a moratorium on large-scale data centers within the city. This initiative follows concerns about the impact of such facilities on local resources and infrastructure. Notably, the Bloomington City Council had previously enacted a six-month moratorium on large data centers on May 25, 2026.
Grocery Tax Repeal
