Moir Central Park

The park is dog-friendly (leashes required) and provides seasonal restroom facilities and off-street parking. It’s also home to the popular Monday Morning Kids Series during the summer months.

Smith Park

Covering 25 acres, Smith Park features a playground, sports courts and fields, and a fishing pier. The park’s Challenge Course playground, opened in April 2024, includes a dash course and climbing structures designed for racing. Smith Pond, a seven-acre body of water within the park, is designated by the Minnesota DNR as a ‘Fishing in the Neighborhood’ pond, making it an excellent spot for children and beginners to fish.

Dred Scott Playfield

Dred Scott Playfield offers a wide range of recreational opportunities across its 48.5 acres. Amenities include baseball and softball fields, soccer fields, tennis and volleyball courts, a playground, and seasonal restrooms. The park also features interpretive signs about Dred and Harriet Scott, donated by the Minnesota Chapter of the Federal Bar Association, providing educational insights into the park’s namesake.
